Buddhist practice means letting go of my opinion, situation, and condition. To help us do that we make a temple, a practice place for many people. In our practice we learn ˇ°together actionˇ±. We bow together, chant together, sit meditation, work and eat together.

3:40 am Wake Up Moktak
3:50 am Ring Big Bell
4 ~ 6 am Sitting Meditation
6:40 am Breakfast
7 ~ 8 am Break
8 ~ 10 am Sitting Meditation
11:00 am Noon Chanting
12:10 pm Lunch
12:30 ~ 2:00 pm Break
2 ~ 4 pm Work Period
4 ~ 5:30 pm Break
5:30 pm Dinner
6 ~ 7 pm Break
7 ~ 9 pm Sitting Meditation
9:00 pm Sleep
 

Temple Rules

  • Observe silence in the morning from wake-up until breakfast.
  • Outside shoes are to be left at the entrance.
  • Smoking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted on MSC property at anytime.
  • Meals are strictly vegetarian. Meat, fish, poultry, dairy foods are prohibited.
  • The general environment is quiet and meditative.
